Mission News

Tuesday, December 31 2019

Dear Friends of The Father's Love International Ministries,

First, I want to thank all of you who have stood with me through 2019. Your prayers and contributions have made all the difference and kept the lampstand light burning for FLM. I am looking forward to see what God has in store for us in the coming days. I want to encourage you to keep your eyes looking up to where your help comes! He will work all things together for good. How He does it is a mystery, but it is HIS promise!

Today, the last day of 2019 and the last day of this decade, I was seeking the Lord and the letter to Ephesus in Revelation 2 stood out to me. Though the church was given credit for what they did right, the Lord admonishes them saying, “you have left your first love.” He goes on to counsel them to “repent and do the deeds you did at first…” When I read this, I asked the Lord if there were deeds that I did at first which I no longer do. I immediately went into study mode and realized a couple of hours later that “studying the word” with intensity is what I used to do a lot! It would seem He didn’t use words to admonish me; rather, He stirred anew my deep desire to know and understand God’s word.

Beloved, Jesus is the WORD made flesh. We learn to rightly divide the word of truth by being IN HIM as we study. He is the only One who can lead us into righteousness. He is the only One who can bring light into darkness. It is HIM, Jesus the Christ, that we are to seek and do those things we did when we first came to know the HOPE to which we were called.

Perhaps you have something that He is calling you to return to, and this post will provoke you into action! My prayer for you in this New Year, this New Decade, is that the eyes of your understanding will be enlightened so that you will know the hope of His calling and what are the riches of the glory of His inheritance in the saints! It is in and through Christ Jesus, I pray. Amen!

Blessings in the Father’s Love and Happy New Year,

Judy A Bauman

Mission Update: Sharing Fruit from the 7M Training in D.C.

As I shared last month, the Lord prompted me to attend a training conference in D.C., and before I go any further, I want to thank each of you that sowed into the trip. It has meant a lot to me. I also want to thank those who prayed while I traveled. It was power-packed, and truly a life-changing weekend with speakers Dr. Lance and Annabelle Wallnau (7M), Mario Murillo, David Harris Jr., John Graves (Vision America), and Ohio’s former Congressman, Bob McEwen. Before each session, Steve Swanson singlehandedly led worship.

It’s taken me awhile to write you this update because I have been debriefing and processing the information. It’s been like trying to digest an elephant! There’s so much to share, but I want to keep this simple. With that said, let me give you a snippet of what each of these speakers shared and my thoughts on the matter.

  • Lance Wallnau spoke on several topics, but mostly how the Body of Christ can walk AS ONE to make great change. (Something intensely powerful happened when he had us say, “AS ONE” in unity!) We walk AS ONE by knowing our calling, developing our strengths, and helping others to do the same. We need to know why we believe what we do so that we can defend our beliefs. Standing by and watching our rights erode the way they have is unacceptable!
In the past, I’ve shared a vision I had of God’s people (the Ekklesia) arising in unity, AS ONE, walking boldly throughout the earth. We must have the mind of Christ, which was in line with what Lance and the others taught at this monumental conference. I feel as though a heavy veil has been lifted off me, and I have clearer vision and direction! Something he said keeps ringing in my ears and that is to prophesy to nations. This is a direction the Lord is shifting me to by moving my focus to impact media.

  • Annabelle shared her heart for single parents and their children.
One of her stories reminded me of when my supporters chipped in and we bought triple decker bunkbeds for orphans in a Ugandan school. One boy interviewed on a return trip commented with a cheeky grin, “We used to sleep on the dirt floor, but now we sleep like kings and queens in beds!” Annabelle does this closer to home and is something to consider.

  • Mario Murillo, who is a prolific blogger, really blessed me when addressed us saying, “God is not going to let America go without a fight! He is looking for us to obey His voice.” Mario and his wife, Mechelle, have a street ministry that even the boldest of us would fear to tread. They obviously have some serious angels around them! I want to encourage you to sign up for his posts, as he has powerful insight!
My take, we must learn how to HEAR GOD and OBEY HIM. Something the Lord has made clear during this time is that I am to write and teach others how to discern the voice of the Lord. We only need to read 1 Sam 3:4-9 to know it doesn’t come naturally.

  • David Harris Jr. shared his testimony and the importance of our praying in the Spirit to receive insight. Interestingly, as I walked to the networking luncheon afterward, I met a young man involved in politics in DC. He explained his field, but I was at a loss as to how this could be a divine appointment for either of us – until I learned he had never prayed in the Spirit! I told him that I was completely confident that he would receive his prayer language before he got up from the table.  As it happened, we sat across from David Harris Jr., and I shared with him something Tim Sheets teaches, and that is when we pray in the Spirit it is, “GOD’S NOTHING IS IMPOSSIBLE” language! I asked David to agree with me and pray for the young man. I leaned over and told the politically ambitious, and well-educated seeker that receiving his prayer language was going to be the easiest thing he’s ever done. Right then after I gave him a bit of instruction, he began praying in the Spirit! YAY GOD! Then David spoke to the entire room of about 150 people, and he brought up our conversation. He asked if anyone there wanted prayer for this gift, and as it turned out there were quite a few others that did! Saints around each table were happy to pray with them. It was truly a blessing to see so many receive this beautiful gift from the Holy Spirit, and all while relaxed at lunch! As it turned out, two at my table received their prayer language! Don’t you love how God does that?

  • John Graves with Vision America may not have spoken long, but some statistics he shared have deeply impacted me. Vision America is a movement aimed at sparking spiritual awakening that will engage, mobilize, and empower churches, their pastors and their congregations to fulfill civic responsibility with the goal that our nation turns in prayerful submission to the Lordship of Christ.
Again, this speaks to me about prophesying to nations. I pray to wake the sleeping church to ARISE, SHINE! Jesus taught we are to “do business” (occupy) the earth until His return. If we will unite AS ONE and shine God’s light into the darkness, there is no way our Christian rights can be stripped from us. The question is, will we?

  • Bob McEwen, a pro-family/free market advocate, is an excellent communicator and gave a powerful presentation on the facts of the founding of the United States of America. I encourage you to do a quick google search and investigate what he teaches, as well as these other speakers. They will give you ammunition to arm yourself with the facts!

There has been a spiritual shift, and I would imagine you have sensed it, or at least heard ministers from different streams writing and speaking about it too. I believe we are not just entering a new spiritual season, but we have entered a new Kingdom Era. We are in a transformational time in the kingdom of God, and He is looking for those who see the importance of investing in extra oil. We are going to need it! The foolish virgins called Jesus “Lord” but didn’t think they needed to invest their time, energy, or resources to buy extra oil for their lamps. As a result, they were locked out of the kingdom. Jesus went as far as to say that He didn’t know them! This is a serious warning from Scripture.

I pray we take and honest look at our involvement with family, business, what we listen to/are involved with in the arts and entertainment industry, what we read, hear, and share through media, learn in our ongoing education, and how we deal with political issues and matters of our faith in Christ.

Please feel free to write me; I would love to hear any comments or questions you have.

Many blessings in the Father’s Love,

Judy A Bauman

Mission Update: Washington DC is on the Father’s Heart!

Recently, I heard about a ministry training event in DC that I really wanted to attend, but quickly discounted it because of the cost. A day or two later, the Lord asked me a direct question, “Are you relying on your own ability to provide or Mine?” As He was speaking, I was convicted of not trusting Him. After I booked my ticket, I became keenly aware that this is not just about training but is a prayer assignment! The tactical advantage of this trip is coming into focus as it draws near. He’s physically placing me in DC to pray for the leaders and future of the United States of America at a very strategic time and location.

If you’ve read my posts about the “Black” New Moons (July 31, 2019 in the Western Hemisphere, and Aug 30, 2019 in the Eastern Hemisphere), you know the timing for me to be in DC is amazing! (I travel from August 29 to September 2.)  If you haven’t read them, I encourage you to do so. Here is the link to the most recent post:  www.thefathersloveim.org/jewels_from_judy_blog/view/2345
The Lord calling me to be in DC at this time was not on my radar, but evidently was on His. Abba’s ways are NOT our ways!!!

I hadn’t planned on making this appeal, but for the past week I have felt the Lord prompting me to encourage others to contribute to this trip. There is something special that the Holy Spirit does when we give with joy and by His leading. If we give someone a dollar, we no longer have it; however, when we give into kingdom work, we all repeatedly enjoy the benefits of that dollar! God’s math is not our math – He doesn’t subtract, He keeps adding!

If you are so inclined to give a donation to offset the travel expenses of this trip, there is a donate button at the website linked above. It would be received with gladness. I would also appreciate your keeping me in prayer as I travel. Watch for updates on Facebook, and I will send a final report through the website when I return.

Many blessings in the Father’s Love,

Judy A Bauman

Mission Update: Bonnie Rudd in Uganda 2019

A shout out to all who donated and prayed for Bonnie Rudd’s medical mission trip with Hand of Help. It was very successful. These are reports and photos from Facebook posts of her trip.

The first day she reported: “The crowd was huge upon arrival. 30 people prayed to receive Christ. Prayed for many that were sick! Great wonderful day.

The second day: “Wonderful blessed day!!! Thank you Jesus for salvation for over 100 people. Thank you Jesus for miracles! You are so good! Then to end the day of clinic with a rainbow!! God you are so good!

The third day she reported about a lady who had come in the first day: “She was very very very sick. We prayed for her and then she did pray to receive Christ. She came back yesterday smiling and looked so much better. Then she came back today to say thank you! It just made me cry. This is what it’s all about.”

She talked about an 86-year-old man in named is Joshua who had been through the terrible civil war in mid 90s. She wrote, “He is a true man of God. He came yesterday and came back today to bring a friend and to say thank you for all the volunteers and all they have done.” She went on to report that she thought they saw over 1100 patients and around 90+ prayed to receive Christ!!

The next day, “Close to 1400 came to the clinic with about 50 salvations!”

The final day, “Today was another awesome day. Last day, hard day but well worth the week. I think over 1100 came through clinic today and 88 prayed to receive Christ!! Praise God! One girl was from a false religion that she renounced that religion and made Jesus her Lord. Another lady had come in Tuesday with bitterness over a situation she was unable to forgive a certain person. That day she prayed to forgive that person and today she came back with a big smiling wanting to accept Jesus as her Lord and Savior!! Praise God I prayed with her and she left so happy!!

She concluded writing from the airport, “God bless Uganda! I will miss Uganda. It is a beautiful country filled with beautiful people.”

To that I say, AMEN! I feel very blessed to be able to partner with her on this successful mission trip.

In the Father's Love,

Judy A Bauman

Our ministry friend and advisor, Bonnie Rudd is going to Uganda! Please read her letter and prayerfully consider sowing into this trip! Love, Judy

Dear Family and Friends,

On July 10, I will be taking my 7th mission trip with Joyce Meyer Ministries, Hand of Hope, and this time we are going to Uganda!  I know I am late getting around to asking for prayer and asking for financial support, but I guess it’s better late than never. I can tell you right now, I truly need prayer with all I have been through the last few months. With my sweet grandbaby so sick, my dear father-in-law passing, and then my beloved Daddy…it’s been overwhelming and faith shaking. The other day, I told my friend Judy, that even though I’ve been shaken to my core, I KNOW, God is faithful.  I know I’ve been in a pit, but I think of David and what he wrote in Psalm 40:1-3:

I waited patiently for the Lord;
And He inclined to me,
And heard my cry.
He also brought me up out of a horrible pit,
Out of the miry clay,
And set my feet upon a rock,
And established my steps.

He has put a new song in my mouth
Praise to our God;
Many will see it and fear,
And will trust in the Lord.

This is my hope and joy – for many to see and trust reverently in Jesus! In past trips, I have seen many healed and saved, and I know without a shadow of a doubt that this is God’s heart for this mission trip. I have a sure word from Him regarding restored joy.

Here is what I need and why I’m writing you.

  • First, I ask for your continued prayers for me and my family.  Please begin praying now and continue to pray until God releases you. You may not know this but coming back from the mission field is a difficult time of spiritual warfare, so I ask that you continue to pray at least until the end of October.

  • Secondly, this trip will cost approximately $4,500.00.  Please pray and see if God is asking you to sow into this trip. I pray that all you give, all that happens in Uganda to the glory of God, will be added to your heavenly account.

I'm reminded of a song by Ray Boltz, “Thank You For Giving To the Lord.”  He sings, "I dreamed I went to Heaven" and then describes what he saw and heard. There was a man who stood before him and said, “Remember the time a missionary came to your church and his pictures made you cry.  You didn't have much money then, but you gave it anyway, Jesus took the gift you gave and that's why I’m here today.” The song continues, “One by one they came as far as the eye could see. Each life somehow touched by your generosity.” This song has always touched my heart, and I pray it blesses you too. We just don’t know who we will meet in heaven because we sowed into God’s plan.

If you choose to give into this trip, you can make a tax-deductible donation through The Father’s Love International Ministries, Inc. by going to www.thefathersloveim.org and clicking on the “donate” tab. There are also mailing instructions if you prefer to give by check or money order.

Thank you for your continued prayers and investing in the oil that the Lord is pouring out in Uganda.

Sincerely,
Bonnie Rudd

Dear Friends of the Father’s Love Int’l Ministries,

Yesterday I had a wonderful conversation with one of the ministry’s advisors, Bonnie Rudd, and learned that she is again going with Hand of Hope Ministries to South Africa for a medical outreach. Bonnie excels at evangelism, and during past trips, she has seen thousands of people saved and many healed through the power of prayer! These mission trips are physically and spiritually difficult, but she has been preparing herself to preach, pray, and prophesy, as well as to travel.

I am very confident that the Lord is sending her, and that sowing into this trip will reap a great harvest for the kingdom of heaven. Please consider being part of sending her on this outreach to “Go make disciples.” You can give your tax-deductible gift through The Father's Love International Ministries with a credit or debit card at www.thefathersloveim.org, or mail a check/money order to PO Box 1573, Flowery Branch, GA 30542.

Thank you for your thoughtful consideration to send our dear friend, evangelist, and sister-in-Christ to South Africa!

In the Father's love,
Judy A Bauman

Bonnie is pictured with a woman that was the local witchdoctor who gave her life to Christ after hearing her preach. Hallelujah!

To all my friends who want to help the victims of Hurricane Harvey but aren’t sure how:

After 9/11, I went to NYC to work at the Family Assistance center. While there, I met a man by the name of Michael Beckett who exhibited an unusual gift of mercy. He told me about Christian Disaster Relief, CDR, the organization he was there to represent. He recommended my going through their emergency response training, which I later did.

What I found is that they are an impeccable group of Christians that God has called to go to disaster sites and feed, clothe, help rebuild, and share the Gospel. They operate in integrity and truly take their calling seriously. Ron Patterson, the director of CDR, has a firm policy not to cut corners. People in crisis receive healthy, hot, delicious meals, and CDR only accepts and rebuilds with quality building supplies. Teams are setting up now to mobilize the moment they can get in to help Hurricane Harvey victims.

If you are considering giving to any crisis relief organization, THIS IS THE ONLY ONE I RECOMMEND. Please help them to help the people of Texas. I pray that you give generously because your donation will be put to work to help both the physical and spiritual health of the victims! Here is a link to their organization that tells more about them and at the bottom of this page is the donate button: https://www.cdresponse.org/who_we_are

One last note: If you believe God is calling you to go with them to help, they need people to serve food, hand out supplies, and pray with people. It is very physically challenging work, but extremely gratifying. Please go to their website and click on the volunteer tab to fill out an application. You can call Ron or Sharon Patterson at their office 1-863-967-4357 (HELP) and they can tell you more.

Thank you for your tax-deductible donation that will truly help hurricane Harvey victims.

In the Father’s Love,
Judy A Bauman

Re: Israel Mission Report

Dear Friends,

It is still amazing to me that God sent me to Israel for the specific mandate to PRAY and PROPHESY over that great nation! This was an unusual 3-week “boots-on-the-ground” mission trip to be sure – with the lion’s share of my time walking the streets in the heart of Jerusalem. The Holy Spirit made it clear that it was important that I be there to “OCCUPY” the land while praying for the country and for specific people. Being in Israel prior to the elections also was strategic, as the news there and in America revealed many terror threats were and still are being levied.
As physically demanding at it was at times, I am pleased to report that Spirit led prayer over regional gates was accomplished. I traveled southeast by the Dead Sea to Masada, to the northeast to the Sea of Galilee, over the eastern side of the city of Tel Aviv, and up to the northwestern seaside of Haifa. Just prior to going to Haifa, the local Israeli news announced that Russia had eight battleships passing by Israel on the Mediterranean Sea heading to Syria. These warships also passed through the English Channel, so the UK was on high alert and Spain denying their request to refuel also caused tensions to rise. They ended up refueling in North Africa. This political situation is still unfolding and continual prayer is vital. This important development in the Middle East didn’t get coverage by US new sources. Instead, the focus was and still is largely on the election, so we need to be vigilant.

The last regional trip I took in Israel was into the Palestinian city of Bethlehem – the birthplace of Jesus. I went specifically to meet up with a Christian journalist and his friend who was a former Muslim from Gaza. This young man’s testimony was so encouraging. He also confirmed that many conversions to Christianity are taking place because the Lord is revealing Himself through dreams and visions. I pray that encourages you to keep praying for these encounters, as this is the Father’s heart for hearts to be reconciled with His through the Lord Jesus.

I must tell you, a mission trip based on “prayer” is difficult to measure. I honestly have no idea what the Father did with the prayers spoken in and over Israel. Nevertheless, since this was the Lord’s mandate, I trust they were useful in building His kingdom. While I do have peace that it was a mission accomplished, I now face the outlay for the trip. I had very little time to raise funds for this trip before I left, and unfortunately lodging, ground travel, food costs, and unexpected expenses were greater than I had anticipated. At this point, I am sadly $2100 short.

If you feel the prompting of the Lord to sow into the “boots-on-the-ground prayers for Israel,” please do not delay in sending your tax-deductible offering. Thank you for your thoughtful consideration and continued prayers for this ministry and for me.

In the Father’s love,
Rev. Judy A Bauman

Mission Update – Live from Israel

Judy A Bauman

www.thefathersloveim.org

“For I will contend with him who contends with you,
And I will save your children...
All flesh shall know that I, the Lord, am your Savior,
And your Redeemer, the Mighty One of Jacob.” Isaiah 49:25b, 26b

There are so many things to report on here in Israel! Since a picture can say a thousand words, I am including links below to my Facebook photo albums I’ve posted thus far. Even if you are not on FB, you can view these albums if you are interested. The photos, videos, and explanations will allow you to see a lot.

I want to thank all of you who gave donations prior to my coming. It means so much to me to have your support. It distresses me to tell you that groceries and ground travel costs have been higher than expected. On top of that, unexpected costs have cropped up with lodging. (edited 11/22/16)

There is a reason the Lord wanted me to physically be here at this time, and though there are many joyful festivities going on right now, there is also considerable darkness looming. If you sense the Lord moving to sow into this field (praying in, around, and for Israel at this significant time), please go to www.thefathersloveim.org. Scroll down to the bottom of the HOME page for options how to give.

Thank you for your thoughtful consideration toward this ministry at this critical time, and as always, thank you so much for your prayers.

In the Father’s love,
Judy A Bauman

Hello!
This is a photo I took tonight just as the full “Hunter/Harvest” moon peeked through the blanket of thick clouds. It doesn't even look real! This serves to remind me of two things. One, the Hebraic calendar is lunar and it is a timetable the Lord set up. Two, just how surreal my leaving tomorrow for Israel really is! Glory! God does things so differently than we would, but He does them right.

When I think of all the miracles Jesus did, and how so many of them didn't make sense in the natural, it really amazes me. (Letting nets on the opposite side of the boat, pulling a coin out of a fish's mouth to pay taxes, spitting in mud and smearing it on a blind man's eyes, taking a stroll on water during a storm...and the examples go on and on!)

I am not sure how God's math works, but somehow when we send others on a mission trip, He rewards them as if they went. I love that because I can see how He has used my offerings given to others to advance the kingdom of heaven. God doesn't add blessings He multiplies them. He doesn't take them from you and give them to another; He gives them to all involved. It's amazing how His kingdom works!

If you believe the Lord is prompting you to sow into this trip, I would appreciate it, but I am certain He will do exceedingly more than you can imagine with it.

Honestly, what I'm seeing in the way the moon popped out for a brief moment, as if to say hello, God wants to say hello to us in a special way in the coming days. The word of God states that blessed is the one who comes in the name of the Lord. He is sending me to be in Jerusalem for 3 full weeks. What all the Father will do through this trip - only He knows. If He is calling you to be part of it, remember, my reward is your reward!
